CDMP Information

The Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP) course is a qualification developed by DAMA International. Candidates have to pass the Information Systems CORE and two other examinations to be certified.

Membership of DAMA UK enables additional resources to support your studies to becoming a Certified Data Management Professional. The mentorship program is a great way to ensure your success, and offer your knowledge to others, supporting the future of Data Management.

Here, you can find details of DAMA UK CDMP Boot Camps, members have exclusive access. The current fee for the 3 day Boot Camp, including the admin and exam fee is £950 plus VAT. The exam can be taken on the last day of the course OR up to 12 months from course start date.

Recommended reading for CDMP is the DMBoKv2 Revised Edition (this is not included in the course cost). Hard copies can be purchased from DAMA UK here and soft copies can be purchased from DAMA International here.

DAMA UK Boot Camps are only open to DAMA UK members. Courses this year are in January, April, June, September, October and December. Register your interest in UK training by emailing sue.russell@dama-uk.org. Please note corporate members are limited to 5 delegates per course subject to availability.

These can be purchased from DAMA International and external suppliers, all communications for US study need to go through info@cdmp.org.

Cancellation and Refund Policy for Training Courses:

We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise, and we strive to be as flexible as possible. Please review our cancellation and refund policy below:

1. Cancellation by Participant:

   • More than 28 days before the course start date: Full refund.
   • Between 14 days before the course start date: 50% refund.
   • Less than 7 days before the course start date: 0% refund.
   • No-show: No refund or credit.

2. Transfer of Enrolment:

   • Transfers are subject to availability and only permitted if the provider can fill the place.
     
   • Transfers are 'one time' only and to the next available course date.
     

3. Cancellation by Provider:

   • In the unlikely event that the course is cancelled by the provider, participants will receive a full refund or have the option to transfer to another session at no additional charge.

4. Exceptional Circumstances:

   • If a participant is unable to attend due to emergency or illness, please contact us as soon as possible. We will review requests on a case-by-case basis and may offer credit towards a future course.

To cancel or request a transfer, please contact us via email or phone. We recommend notifying us as soon as possible to ensure your request is processed efficiently.
